DAY 38: THE REASON TO AVOID TUMMY EXERCISES IN THE 1ST PHASE

Tummy exercises in the 1st phase exaggerate the average-initial-weight loss

It is very important to avoid doing tummy exercises during the first phase—1st month—of your weight loss programme. You avoid tummy exercises only if you use a tape to measure your weight-loss by inches or centimetres. You need to know your initial weight-loss by measuring at least three different areas around your waist and other body parts. Now, if you do your tummy exercises during the first phase of your weight-loss programme, you would never know the actual amount of the weight lost in the 1st phase, since you are likely to burn more fats around your waist during tummy exercises. This cannot be used to decide your average weight loss. Having known your initial weight-loss last month, then you can move on to doing your tummy exercises to make sure that your weight loss is proportionate everywhere on your body.

This is the second phase—2nd month—of my weight loss programme. Thus, I began doing exercises to reduce my tummy on Monday July 2, 2012.

HIDDEN HABITS CONTRIBUTING TO WEIGHT GAIN

A) Eating while cooking

Several people have a habit of eating while cooking, actually before the food is ready for eating. When you are exercising to lose weight, you have to avoid eating while the food is still cooking. The chances of eating more than your body requires are much more than you can foresee.

B) Eating from a pot or pan

Others have the habit of eating from a pot or pan. After cooking, they do not put the food on a plate. Instead, they choose to eat directly from the pot or pan. The chances of eating more than your body requires are higher when you cannot see the total amount of food on the plate. However, if you measure your food before cooking perhaps you can eat directly from the pot or pan because you know the actual amount of food in that particular pot or pan. Why eat from a pot or pan anyway?

C) Eating while doing other things

Most busy people eat in a hurry. Sometimes, they eat while standing or on their way to work. The chances of eating more or less than your body requires are more.

D) Recommendation

  • Ha! Ha! Ha! Perhaps, you must not taste your food while cooking if you cannot control your appetite while cooking.
  • If you cannot stop eating from a pan or pan, cook only the amount of food your body requires per day so that you may avoid eating more than you need.
  • It might help to sit down while eating unless otherwise.
  • Avoid eating more than you need, but if not, then you do more exercises to get rid of extra food.

MY EXERCISES TODAY

This morning, I did 2, 500 jumps (400 more jumps than I did yesterday) in about 44 minutes from 11:45 to 12:29. I did my body stretches and warm ups in 27 minutes from 11:12 to 11:29 hours. I did my exercises in a total time of 1 hour 11 minutes. I drank 2.700 litres of fluids.
